OVRCCC Driver's Conduct

1. Drivers and those accompanying the drivers must always practice good sportsman like conduct. Any driver or non-driver being belligerent will be asked to stop; if they proceed to continue, they will be asked to leave for the remainder of the race day. If the same thing happens again, they will be asked to leave and never come back.

2. Possession, and /or use of drugs or alcohol are strictly prohibited.

3. The frequency board must be used at all times during practice. Any transmitter that is switched on must have the proper frequency clip in place on the transmitter antenna and the clip with your name must be on the board.  This rule will be strictly enforced. This rule will also apply to anyone operating any radio controlled car in the general area of the racing facility.

4. No cars are to be driven in the pit area.

5. All drivers are responsible for turn marshal duty for the next race in the race order, or you will lose your best qualifier at that race and your next race if necessary at the discretion of the Race committee.

6. Turn marshal duties are to be taken very seriously. This is quite possibly the most dangerous part of this sport; because of this, only drivers or qualified substitutes will be allowed to turn marshal.

7. All cars that need repairs must be removed from the track area. Turn marshals are not permitted to work on any cars during the race.

8. Drivers should not scream at turn marshals for any reason. Any complaints about a turn marshal have to be brought to the race director or any club official in attendance.

9. Soft soled, closed toe shoes are highly recommended for all drivers, and those accompanying him/her. This is purely a safety issue.

10. Only registered entrants will be allowed to drive, please do not switch drivers between heats/races.

11.  Parents are responsible to turn marshal for the kid’s class.
