2010 Points Series
All racers will be eligible “members and non-members”
A class must race Four (4) dates in order for a Champion to be Awarded.
All race dates excluding Trophy Races and Off-site Races count towards points series.
If a race day is shortened because of rain, it will be an official race, if two rounds have been completed, current qualifying order will be used as results.
In the event of a tie, the racer with the highest number of 1st place finishes will win the tiebreaker. If 1st place finishes in a tie, then highest 2nd, then 3rd , and so forth. There will only be 1 champion at the end of the year.
Must have 4 entries to form a class. When a driver races in another class, the driver will receive only the Registration point and the Main point. The out-of-class racer will have no effect on the race points for the class that he is racing in.
Points will be earned three ways.
1. One (1) points will be earned by Registering to race, on race day.
2. One (1) point will be earned by Starting the Main race and showing at least 1 lap recorded.

Eight (8) for first, Seven (7)
for Second, Six (6) for Third, Five (5) for Fourth, Four (4) for Five, Three (3)
for Sixth thru the end.

Brian finished second and received 7 points, 1 point for registering, and 1 point for making a lap in the main. 9
Mark finished third and received 6 points, 1 point for registering, and 1 point for making a lap in the main. 8
Bill finished fourth and received 5 points, 1 point for registering, and 1 point for making a lap in the main. 7
Kirk finished fifth and received 4 points, 1 point for registering, and 1 point for making a lap in the main. 6
Chris finished sixth and received 3 point, 1 point for registering, and 1 point for making a lap in the main. 4
Sam finished seventh and received 3 point, 1 point for registering, and 1 point for making a lap in the main. 3
Mick started the main but did not make a lap, but received 1 point for registering. 1
Cliff did not start the main, but received 1 point for registering. 1
OVRCCC reserves the right to make adjustments in points system.
