OVRCCC 2005 Points Series
All
racers will be eligible “members and non-members”
Race schedule will be spit into two, First Half and Second Half.
First
half will begin on April 30 and will include race dates
April
30 May 7, 14, 21 June 4, 11, 18
Second
half will begin on July 9 and will include race dates
July
9, 16,
23, 30 August 6, 13, 27 Sept.

Six
races will be scored your Best six races will be scored and your lowest will be
thrown out.
A
class must race Four (4) dates in order for a Champion to be Awarded.
Total
number of races may have to be adjusted, due to scheduling.
If a race day is shortened because of rain, it will be an official race, if two rounds have been completed, current qualifying order will be used as results.

In
the event of a tie, the racer with the highest number of 1st place
finishes will win the tiebreaker.
Must
have three entries to form a class. When a driver races in another class, the
driver will receive only the
Registration points and the Main point. The out-of-class racer will have no
effect on the race points for the class that he is racing in, and will show OC
in the Race column.
Points
will be calculated by and filed with race director. Current points total will
be posted on our website.
Points
will be earned three ways.
1.
Two
(2) points will be earned by Registering to race, on race day. Recorded as Reg. on results.
2.
One
(1) point will be earned by Starting the Main race. Recorded as Main on
results.
3. One (1) point for each driver that a racer finishes in front of. Recorded as Race on results.

In this example
All racers received 2
Registration points, for registering to race.
Three drivers started the Main and received 1 Main
point; Two drivers Did Not Start the main and did not earn a Main point.
Jason
finished in front of four drivers and received 4 Race points.
OVRCCC
reserves the right to make adjustments in points system.
